‘TMNT’ Filmmakers Want Bebop, Rocksteady, & Casey Jones for Sequels

From ScreenRant:

Platinum Dunes’ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is set to hit theaters on August 8th – following months of controversy and tense debate between fans who are intrigued by the reboot and those who feel producer Michael Bay is poised to ruin childhood nostalgia. Of course, Bay is only serving as a producer on the film – with Jonathan Liebesman (Battle: Los Angeles and Wrath of the Titans) sitting in the actual director’s chair.

I really think the chances of this getting a sequel are low

DarkBlood3560d ago

Transformers got sequals so I don't know about that man lol

Crazay3560d ago

I'm calling my shots and say this is guaranteed a sequel.

darklordzor3560d ago

I think it has as much of a shot as anything. Remember this and Transformers are designed to appeal to a younger crowd, who will drag their parents to see it (though I'm keeping optimistic and hoping it's good), regardless. So it'll make money.

You don't know the power of Michael Bay!

The only thing powerful about Michael Bay is the size of his turds, namely the films he makes. He's got some powerful anus contractions going on.

I wouldn't mind seeing Bebop and Rocksteady in the next film, and I think it could be kind of cool to see them in action. I think Leatherhead would be really awesome to see, however.

darklordzor3560d ago

I want Krang done right. I think it's possible to do the alien invasion story well, but it could aslo easily be too goofy.

SpeedDemon3560d ago

I wanted to see Bebop & Rocksteady in the the original tmnt movies, so I think it would be great.

If they do make a sequel, they should better the turtles appearance, at least take away their noses.

Crazay3559d ago

They just can;t make Beebop and Rocksteady into the bumbling idiots they were in the cartoon and then you have some pretty awesome adversaries.

demonJAKAL3559d ago

I dont want to admit it but this film is guaranteed a sequel or two regardless wether it will do well or not unfortunately

Crazay3559d ago

I don't think this looks as bad as I originally envisioned.
