10 Most Controversial Casting Choices In Upcoming Movies

Jared Leto? He's not a controversial choice actor wise, it's just his costume/style, it's not the Joker. Place him in something like the Arkham games Joker costume and he'd look fine.

Out of the bunch of DC actors where WB could have picked better Jared Leto is not one of them.

Gal Gadot, Jessie Eisenberg, Ezra Miller, Will Smith.

I don't recall hardly anyone complaining about Jared Leto as an actor. Just the silly tattoos and teeth thing.

Yea, I think Leto would be a fantastic Joker but the way DC/WB is handling him makes him a poor Joker. Likewise, everyone thought Ledger was going to be a horrible choice but Nolan made him work and people ended up loving it. Sadly, Leto is in the opposite chair because they want to give him a bunch of tattoos, a grill, a pimpmobile, and a completely whored out Harley.

My two cents, but Suicide Squad just doesn't appeal to me anymore, I was excited until I saw what is looking like the end result. :(
