Someone just went around throwing disagrees at everyone who enjoyed it and gave some agrees to everyone on the fence lol. Pathetic really. Sign me up for a few disagrees because I think it looks amazing!! I can hardly wait for a full-on teaser!

Little paranoid don't you think

SilentNegotiator3294d ago

The setup for why Batman is out for Superman's blood had better be good and not go against who Batman or Superman are.

Aldous_Snow3294d ago

Superman stole Alfreds sandwich. Batman wants revenge.

SilentNegotiator3294d ago

This calls for a neck snapping.

I like how the citizens are against Superman, but in the grand scope of things, the whole people hating Superman is getting really old, even casual fans dont like him for no reason.

Im hoping there is a valid reason to the fight (not that they should be fighting at all so soon, even Civil War happens much later in the Marvel Universe).

If this film is just catering to Batman fans, Im going to be annoyed.

Superman is a hero, treat him as such. Wonder how Christopher Reeve would feel about this trailer, he'd feel like a villain

iamnsuperman3294d ago

The vilification of Superman makes sense in this universe. In Man of Steal Superman, while trying to save the world, completely destroyed metropolis. It was be insane and dumb for this film not to play on that. Here you have an immense being that can seemingly do anything and there is nothing anyone can do to stop him.

In the trailer you see solders/people idolise him (they have his insignia on their solders and the got down on one knee when he arrived) but at the same time people fear Superman (he is an unstoppable Alien). It is clear he needs to earn the trust of the people. I like this direction. DC needed to distinguish itself from the Marvel film which tend to have a more campy/humerus approach.

Tsuru3294d ago

Lex may be blackmailing him, or manipulating him in some fashion.Wont know till we see.

maniacmayhem3293d ago

It looks like Superman has his own army. If I'm not mistaken it looks like those soldiers bowing have Superman insignias on their shoulders.

One of two things, there may be a cult of Superman followers that have their own army to "straighten" out the world and Superman approves, or Lex is setting Superman up by funding a Superman personal army.

Either way this is exactly what Batman doesn't like and will probably lead to the eventual fight between the two.

The classic comic book misunderstanding.

Batman/ Bruce Wayne tapped Louis Lane a55, now Superman is hating on his game.
And is owner of the daily bugle. Lol

THIS and Suicide Squad!! Marvel can suck it! The Avengers is grossly overrated.

vivid833294d ago (Edited 3294d ago )

if it wasn't for avengers for this movie wouldn't exist this would just be man of steel 2 without the justice league so.....

-Foxtrot3294d ago

Looks better then I thought but still not hyped

Should of just done Man of Steel 2 instead.

Genki3294d ago

They should HAVE cancelled Man of Steel in the first place for being as bad as it was.

As long as Snyder is involved with these movies, I have little to no faith in them. Suicide Squad is the silver lining.

iamnsuperman3294d ago

I see your point but in a way I think this might be a better approach for a more serious film. The one thing that has never made sense of the Marvel films is how the heroes don't band together for the solo flicks. It depends where DC wants to go with this but I would like to see a more shared universe

maniacmayhem3293d ago

I agree, DC should have took their time and established the universe like Marvel did.

But I can see why DC would want to rush and compete with Marvel.

Still, a Man of Steel 2 would have been welcomed more by me.

Soldierone3294d ago

This is so epic and they haven't even shown off the other characters just yet! They could role with this and be perfectly fine!
