Richard of PopCults.com writes "Granted, some of what was presented by Galavant was predictable, and maybe a bit juvenile and easy to pick at, but honestly, I couldn’t really care. The simple fact of the matter is that I really enjoyed the show and felt that it entertained me probably a bit more than it should have – but I loved the series. Looking back at it all, eight episodes wasn’t nearly enough to capture all the magic that this show presented viewers; and with the first season ending the way it did it really would be a crime if Galavant doesn’t return for a second season. I think it could be just as refreshing and ingenious as the first season and at the very least to tie up the loose ends that the finale left viewers with."
