That Goblin in the trailer is clearly being played Dane DeHann (Harry), therefore he's Green Goblin. Not New, not Hob. Green.

Paul W.S Anderson (Resident Evil). Idk, I think a veteran 40-ish Batman next to a rookie (just started the superhero biz) seems like a good match up. It'll give Batman a chance in the Vs. party of the movie lol. Also most people tend to forget that this is still a Man of Steel sequel. >_<
Probably because Tony Stark is really popular amongst movie-goers and they've (sadly) established Robert Dow,, erh i mean Tony Stark (Not Iron man) as the main character in the MCU.
Also Marvel makes their own movies not "hollywood". Why they themselves wanna stray so far from their own source material is beyond you & me. :/
I'm not against Affleck but I would have loved to see Brolin take a shot at the caped crusader. By the time Affleck's done with it, Brolin will be too old. :( But thinking about it now, Brolin would be perfect for a villain like Black Mask, Deathstroke, or Two-face. :D In fact, seeing Brolin as villain would be epic!!
Personally, I think Affleck will do great, Micheal Keaton and Christian Bale got alot of crap for their casting, and they went on to master the role.

To be fair SM3 sucked because the villains sucked. Sandman was turned into a sob story and despite actually being a pretty bad guy (He nearly killed Harry, Peter, kidnapped Mj and would have probably killed her too) he was the only one who got away scott free.
