I'm still not a huge fan of Vikander in general, let along in this role.

It would be a shame, but I would love to see more X-Files. I think this season is better than the last one. If they went ahead without Scully, it also wouldn't be the first time the show didn't have both of its iconic leads. Mulder wasn't around for a bit in the original run too.
The prequels aren't as bad as they like to always bring up. It's like everyone decided to follow that opinion and made it consensus. Episode I was mind-blowing in 1999. I don't think people appreciate the visuals for the time enough. I also don't remember many people complaining about the movie when it came out. Everyone I knew loved Jar Jar Binks.
Looks good. Certainly looks better than Rogue One, that's for sure. I'm loving the cast. I don't know about Emilia Clarke. She gets overshadowed outside of Game Of Thrones, but thumbs up for Ehrenreich, Glover and Harrelson.
Yeah, but they really tried to throw everything in there to the point I'm surprised slavery wasn't also included. And of course, the police are all bad people in the pilot. I was excited to see the show beforehand, but I don't even quite understand the setting. It's like this neighborhood that has the entire socio-economic spectrum in it, from gangsters to upper middle class, somehow all mingling together.

Yeah, people have hopped onto the bandwagon too much with the prequels. I especially hate how they all disregard Episode 1 outright. I remember people loving it when it first came out. The visuals in that movie are amazing. I don't even remember a movie that used as many CGI visuals at the time as Episode 1 did. Now everyone's a jerk about it.
So I guess the plot is that they're saving the dinosaurs from an extinction-level event? Perhaps it was all just simplified for the teaser, but I hope they send a bigger crew than just three people to save the dinosaurs. This is the best comic-based TV show on right now as far as I'm concerned. I especially like it because its aesthetic reminds me of Tim Burton's Batman movies, which I still enjoy more than the latest Batman movies.
