I kind of want to take "the best one so far" with a pinch of salt. He's obviously not going to bad mouth the movie before it's hit screens - and if it can top the first one, well - that's BIG! The trailer makes it look like they've taken the right angle... a slow immersion into the world of Transformers. Plonking us right in the middle of the action was a bad idea - no time to believe IMHO.
Yeah, I used to pronounce it gill-en-hall, so thought others might find it useful. :-) Another favourite... Jovovich.
The funny thing about *this* The Hangover "Part II" movie review is that it's almost an exact 'copy and paste' replica of The Hangover movie review written in 2009 with movie titles, location and one or two reference updates - done as a comment on the sequel's rinse and repeat formula. @MarronMarvel As far as the sexist comment goes... I'm sorry I offended you. I'm sure your kind would appreciate the fragile ulterior motives with which the remark was made.
Yep... live-action/animated films never quite do the trick, with the exception of 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?' of course.
If you watch it, imagining they scriptwriters were on acid - it makes a lot more sense.
Yeah - found it quite funny that Jeff Bridges wore the eye patch on the other eye to John Wayne. Coen brothers were perfect for the tone of this film.
It was just too slow and uneventful for me... loved Corbijn's movie 'Control', but 'The American' was just too generic and misrepresented in its marketing as a thriller. More like a slow-boiling mystery.
It just felt a bit detached and adrift from the rest of the series. Possibly since there's no connection with Hogwart's and then because the surreal world they find themselves in doesn't seem to have any concept of time, ushering in a general sluggishness without any immediate threat from a chase or impending doom. While the cat's away, the mice play.
I felt like they were trying to portray Zuckerberg in a much softer light... make him look like the victim of circumstances.
Do you think this film will encourage more people to join Facebook if they haven't already? I remember watching 'Once' and thinking it was a fantastic way to advertise the lead character's music album.
He was totally shown up by Charlie Sheen. If only they had cast someone like Christian Bale... hell, even Christian Slater would've been more convincing. LaBeouf's too much of an open book.
If you're mainly driven by visuals, you'll like. If you need more than that... good luck.
