Agreed, I was confused for the last episode there were only 8 or 9 resistance members but in Rise of Skywalker it was 20 or so. Second, there was no point in bringing Palpatine but the only reason he came back was due to Snoke dying in the last episode. Personally, I would have preferred to see Admiral Thrawn.....

What is Disney competition well apart from Universal and Netflix not so much but independent studios that have very little fanfare or very unknown. I agree the Han Solo movie will flop very hard. An Obi Wan movie not so sure how that provide continuity. Me personally, it would be awesome to see how Supreme Leader Snoke took over the remnants of the Empire, seduced Kylo Ren to the dark side, see the knights of Ren in action. See more of how Luke sense the dark side inside Kylo Ren. A movie like that would add context, lore, and in the case of Star Wars fans salvage Star Wars.

Poe becomes the leader of the rebels. Yes, Princess Leia surviving that blast was pretty stupid; she should of died right there and then. Luke wanted to kill his nephew because he felt that Ben Solo had already turn to the dark side by Supreme Leader Snoke. I am still shocked that Snoke got killed. Kylo Ren took advantage of Snoke holding Rey with the force and pretending he was loyal to Snoke. He outsmarted both Snoke and Rey. In the end Kylo just wanted to rule ...
