Well it was more of an eye roll than made me angry tbf but it doesn't translate well to movies for me, if I wanted to hear a teenager talk smack for 2 hours, I'd buy Call of Duty.

I hope his performance in Civil War isn't indicative of what to expect of this movie.. he barely had any screentime and I wanted to punch him he was so annoying.. chatting rubbish in the middle of a fight works well in comics but doesn't translate well at all to the big screen imho.

After his excellent portrayal of Elliot, he's earned this opportunity however he played Elliot so perfectly I just can't imagine him as Freddie Mercury at all. Still, he's one of the most talented actors I've seen in recent years, it'll be interesting to see how he does.

Yup, those of us with experience just see "what culture" and close the window because we know exactly what to expect.

He's not that bad of a director really but I'm still recovering from him taking a huge dump on horror fans with the way Halloween 2 remake ended so all Rob Zombie hate is fine by me. His movies aren't particular bad they're just not that great either. Watchable for fans of horror but nothing special or particularly memorable.

Spectre definitely felt like an end to Daniel Craig's storyline but I'd definitely be encouraged if they tried to convince him to stay on.. he signed up for Casino Royale which was an amazing film, Spectre in comparison was an average action movie, if trying to convince him means going back to Casino Royale where they focus on storytelling as opposed to setting up big over the top action scenes, then I'd be all for it.

Hopefully not, it just wouldn't work today, it was one of those perfect for the time 80s movies, trying to do a sequel to it while modernising it for today's movie goers, it's destined to fail. Sadly, if anything, I reckon they're more likely to do a smelly remake of it than a sequel that does the original justice.

So basically the top five horror movies to look forward to next year are remake remake remake remake sequel... *golfclap*

I can't actually believe they're already on remaking 90s horror movies, not sure if that's an indicator of just how bad Hollywood is getting these days or that I'm getting old.

Honestly the idea of doing a seven season anthology each focusing on a different decade sounds like a pretty cool idea but why not build on that and create something new instead of turning it into a Lost Boys remake? Completely unnecessary and instantly puts me off it.

Would be all over this at the right price but at $800 though, I'd expect it to come with a gold one ring replica or something equally as absurd.

Remember cinemas take about half of that money so 130 million is more like 65m for the studio and the budget of 140m doesn't factor in marketing costs which going by how far they went, probably cost a lot too.

I wouldn't call edge of tomorrow underrated and definitely wouldn't call the Godzilla remake as underrated, it was critically acclaimed. Great shout on Snowpiercer though, I had never even heard of it before a friend recommended it to me and it was a brilliant movie.

46m isn't too bad of a figure all things considered however at this point, I'd be shocked if the film actually makes a profit. Hopefully by the end of it all, Hollywood won't ever try and pull something like this again.

"Arguably, the most anticipated film of the summer is finally out! " Is the summer lineup really that bad?

What did people have against the second movie? Been a while since I've seen it but I remember Peter MacNicol being absolutely amazing in it.

Generally speaking, from the objective reviews I've came across, the movie isn't as bad as the trailers make out but it's nothing special either. I wouldn't go as far as to call all the positive reviews as shills but some clearly are scoring it higher than it probably deserves.

Nah, it won't be the next John Carter, it has a target demographic that will make sure it makes back some of it's money at least.

The trailers are just so bad though, the jokes feel forced and terrible and there was nothing showcased which showed any sort of chemistry between the cast. If they can't come up with a compelling trailer, then I'm not going to go and see it until someone whose opinion I respect tells me that I should.

Only real problem with the movie was that they tried to condense a 4 hour epic into half that time. It served it's purpose to setup the universe but the pacing was comical at times, hopefully there will be an extended edition when it's released on dvd/blu ray

Good for him, his performance was one of the more stand out ones in Episode 7.
