The concept alone of trying to make a more "realistic" Batman in Nolan's movies have always bothered me. Sure, he does not have super powers but that does not mean he is realistic. Gotham too felt more alive in the animated series and Burton's films than it does in the new ones.
Nolan's films have been good movies but poor "Batman Movies". I hope they are truer to the character and world next time.
Well, it is time for a reboot. Nolan's films have been really good movies featuring Batman but not that great Batman films. Honestly, the only really good Batman film we have had was Mask of the Phantasm.

Wrong way to go. Should just concentrate on making more cinematic games.
So far, I would say movies. I think the biggest problem with "games" lay with the fact that they use mini-cgi movies, aka cutscenes. to tell their stories. It is almost a little disingenuous since cutscenes aren't even really a part of the game and most are shipped out to other comapnies to do. Also note the complete difference in graphic's quality breaks the momentum and immersion. I think Spielberg has the best view of the situation;
