Agreed, but if done wrong, lengthy movies can be horrible. Considering Peter Jackson is in charge, it should be perfect.
The directors will probably end up giving up on it like many other video game inspired movies in the past.
Kudos to them if they can pull this off without it being a complete failure.

I remember watching the 3D one...a loong time ago haha, with the old Blue and Red 3D glasses.

I'm impressed with how well they coped with the loss of Megan Fox in the cast. I really thought it would be terrible.
These guys should be hired to direct and film a cinema movie. It looks stunning IMO =)
