Exactly! Why does everyone feel like a Star Wars prequel needs to be all happy go lucky? Look how that turned out for Ep. 1-3.
This is a bummer and what I feared the reshoots would tackle. I thought the Vader scenes could have been epic based on how they talked about portraying him, but now it will be made family friendly to sell more tickets.

Shouldn't surprise us that Hollywood is meddling with a video game narrative. Maybe one day someone will get it right out there, but here's to hoping this flick isn't a complete POS.
It's missing the comic book movie feel, which the previous two had, not that they were great, but they're definitely better than this.
