This was one of those under the radar films that turned out to be much better than people expected. With all the films of late not screened for press or having very limited screenings, it is nice to see something good is out.
The article is very poorly written. Spelling and grammar issues all over and on top of it, the arguments do not even make sense.
Warner has a pretty spotty record with Super Hero films though.
Three Superman, A Batman, Catwoman, Green Lantern, and to some extent, Watchman f s iled or did not meet expectations. Script and casting as well as Director issues were the most common issues.
Yes but there is a huge difference in directing tv vs film. There are Directors who work often in tv and never do films as its not suited to them. Usually they should do some theatrical releases before doing a big budget. This smells of a studio control project.
Did you see the Director for Wonder Woman?
A TV Director. I am sorry The X-Files, some Harsh Realms, and a few Breaking bad episodes do not qualify a person to direct a major studio film with a major budget in my opinion. Yes she has a huge record, in TV but working on a tv show and a movie are very different. Pacing, budget, the FX, etc.
It bombed at the box office so just underscored why they did not screen it. They knew they had a mess that was going to be panned.
They had a few around press junkets with interviews as they want you to see the film before you interview people associated with it. It was so bad that they canned the screener plans. It is at 13% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Also its part of the business. You always show your film in advance to press and industry people to generate word of mouth, buzz, and to get quotes for add campaigns.
I wonder if she yells at him like Howard's mom does on the show.
I just want the bad dubbing and lip synching to stay in.
3D or not 3D that is the question.
I wonder if Ultron will whip out a Galaxy or Edge phone. Most likely they will have Samsung phones and tablets all over.
It was amusing at times but for the most part not very good. I think it will actually benefit from the p.r. as had it come out as planned, it would have been mostly overlooked.
I found it too long and dull. Not for kids by any means.
While I liked it, I did think this trilogy was overly long and self indulgent. You could see how it was padded over and over to justify three films. The inclusion of characters and scenes not in the book as an example. Hey they had no more film rights after this so why not pad it into a trilogy.
I want to know what us behind all the Biblical films of late. Are they trying to recapture Passion's box office? That was dine fairly cheap and was aided by controversy. Noah and this had huge budgets but told a story most people were very aware of so I can see how she said it lacked in the drama category.
Repulsorlift tech was my guess. It has to have apendages or something like it as well.
I have heard it is acually loaded with weapons.
It is due to him being needed to get Prometheus 2 out. This was always a question as both scripts are ready to go but there was debate over which would be done first. Now he is free to get P2 out in 2016 and oversee this as well.
That is true. There was huge hype and expectations for a new Star Wars but the return of the classic cast takes it to a new level.
Not screened in advance for press. All I needed to know to avoid it.
