Seems far more likely they do a deal, Marvel has creative control, sony's get X% of profits and sort out distribution on any film spiderman in plus they have control of whoever has game rights etc and whether games accompany the standalone spiderman films or not. I hope we get Andrew garfield back as spiderman he was really good but it seems unlikely. Part of me is abit annoyed that the other trillogy I've seen 2/3 parts of will now never get its concluding part aswell but small price...

Can't see sony just abandoning their plans they've recently laid out for the franchise. Only thing I can think of is they've made an agreement that will allow Spiderman into the avengers-marc webb had said he'd like that but it wasn't down to him.... still that'd be another 3 years off now unless they rewrote and added it in last minute to age of ultron-which I can't see happening.

Not completely based on nonsense they are right about the sjw agenda regarding women going forwards. They also dont mention it but a gay spiderman was actually discussed not that long ago and the actors and such were for it at the time.sony however were not thankfully.
