They were shut down once, but like for a really small period of time. I think it involved something in the courts, then hackers took down the MPAA and some site for a day that they hired to try to take down torrent sites.
The site that the MPAA hired would send mass DDoSs to torrent sites to bog them down, and eventually crash their system. Hackers and Noobs banded together to return the favor. Happened a couple months ago I believe.
That's because we at TechPerSpec are honest, sometimes a little too brutally honest.
I am the one who created the review, and I called it like I saw it. It was portrayed as "the most epic movie of 2010," when I think I am more interested in "Tron: Legacy." I was wowed more when I saw a pre-screening of the new Resident Evil movie, than with this. But, like I said in the review, it was still a good movie.
Not weird, just a little "reality impaired," or open-minded. :P
I am a big Comic book movie fan, and next year's lineup is sure going to be epic. I know I am going to go broke seeing these movies...
MY EYES!!! They burn! I just lost the last 2min 23secs of my life, and the nightmares I will probably get for the next week thinking about this trailer, and I will never get them back... WHY?!?!?! I am now going to consider getting mental help after watching this...
I agree with you. I don't pay attention to most reviews or critics before I see a movie. They could have missed a part of a movie that I could've felt was necessary to the story, and the fact that reviews and critiques are way too opinionated. Our local newspaper critiques movies once a week, and 9 times out of 10, the movies made in the US get bad reviews, and only foreign movies get the really awesome reviews.
I thought it was hilarious, just a little confusing at times. But I think I speak some truth out of this when I say Hollywood has pretty much lost it's originality. It wasn't what I expected actually, it was better. Of course, this is just my opinion.
You are correct. 3 movies and yeah, the show has been out for a while. Crazy series though altogether. MTV has been playing a small documentary called "Jackass: The Beginning" lately.
Thought provoking comment:
If they raised the freeway max speed to 88mph, what would happen if we really did go back to the future? Would the future go poof from the high amount of traffic going back, and would there be a traffic jam (like rush hour or something) in the traveling back?
very informative
Congrats to the winners!
