Too long since the original, but unfortunate nonetheless.
It was ok. Enjoyable, but not really great.
IMO a poor man's Underworld (same people), Van Helsing, etc...
That's because they're waiting for The Raid Redemption 2, so they can copy it again.
Both of them were good movies, but Dredd was a futuristic clone of TRR.
It shouldn't be about race, but considering the character is normally based on a "white male", it would make sense to stick to it in the film adaptation. I personally have no problem with a black actor playing the role of Human Torch, and the adopted / half brother role they're going to use is fine.
I just feel that the roles should go to the actor who best portrays the character, and works to get the looks, voice, or build right. If there were other actor...
The Conjuring was the best horror movie this year IMO. Although it was a cliched ghost movie, it was genuinely scary which is a shame that scary is a rarity in horror movies nowadays.
Interested in Battery, looks like indie was the best for horror this year.
It was actually a good movie. It doesn't have any great "WOW" moments, but from beginning to end it's a good movie.
Ahhh yes Xena followed by Hercules, those were the good old days. Lucy Lawless could have been a good Wonder Woman, but she's a bit old now. Maybe Gina Carano (she played in Fsat and the Furious 6 and Haywire, plus she's an MMA fighter)
Mmmm yes

Flashpoint was great, but yeah some of the designs were a bit blah.
The best way to do Wonder Woman would be a combinations of Thor (storytelling and how to handle the gods) meets Clash of the Titans. Keep it located at Themyscira or Paradise Island, keep it as an origin story and revolve around her becoming a warrior (hot chicks in skimpy outfits kicking @$$), and have her being trained by the gods and taking down Greek Mythological creatures and maybe a demigod (Cheetah) or full God (?????).
The New 52 origin story is actually pretty good,...

You can't blame Clooney for those messy movies. Clooney is actually a good Batman in theory, but they went for the old 1960's Adam West feel instead of the goodness we know as The Dark Knight.
I don't think it was a letdown, but I agree with a lot of the complaints about it. It was too long, there were too many flashbacks, his journey to the fortress of solitude was too longs, and the pacing was bad with the majority of the action crammed into the end.
However, the action was good, special effects were good, and most of the performances were well done and believable for the most.
As the video said it's a decent set-up for sequels, but in n...
I though it was a mediocre movie, with decent acting, amazing action, and amazing special effects.
I felt the movie was far too long for what they showed. They could have easily cut 30 minutes worth of content from the movie and it would have been significantly better.
The build up is snails-pace slow. It was nice to see Kyrpton envisioned in the movie although the sequence felt very Star Wars. It also made no sense how some of the characters were being po...
5 and 6 were "beyond ridiculous".
Although I found 6 more entertaining.
As long as it's based on the original, or maybe 3. 2 was garbage.
I was thinking the same thing. I was like, "Isn't Merle suppose to be this big, merciless, kick@$$ survivalist, and he's getting beat by a 1-eyed former accountant called the Governor. Michone put up a better fight.
But then I remembered he had been fight zombies off the entire time when he was bringing Michone to the Govern, and before the Governor attacked all the other men were jumping him, so I guess he can get a slight pass.
Best Writing Ever for DCAU, and probably out of every cartoon / anime on TV now.
Great, great show.
@Legion
LMAO. That's so mean. Funny, but mean.
It's not a bad movie, just mediocre in almost every way.
There are so good pros, but outweighed by a bunch of petty cons, such as bad pacing, bad scene transitioning, bad script, bad character reasoning for why they're doing what they're doing, Batman killing or at least sending people to ICU for the rest of their lives, Gotham being across the lake from Metropolis, The whole Batman vs Superman fight, and just several other little nagging issues.
