December Contest Details

Well December is here and that means we're practically in the middle of the holiday season. This time of year is all about spreading cheer (or whatever cheesy slogan retailers are using to entice people to spend more money). As such, we're looking to spread the cheer here on FilmWatch. This means tons of prizes to spread out.

If you're anything like me, Christmas time does not usually mean you get tons of movies as presents, despite being a known movie lover to your friends and family. In fact, buying movies for a movie lover can be a daunting task since one never knows which movies said movie lover already owns, what they may like, etc. So, very very rarely do people buy movies for me. Also, given the expenses of buying tons of presents for others over the month, I usually have to cut back on buying movies for myself as well. Well if this sounds familiar to you, then FilmWatch is coming to the rescue. We don't want you to go movie-less for the above reasons, so we're here to spread the cheer, and spread the movie goodness.

We'll be foregoing the lottery contest this month and simply sticking to those that comment the most. However, there will be plenty to go around here as we'll be rewarding the top SIX commenters. That's right...6 members will walk away with something just from this contest alone.

1st: 2 DVD/BD movies of your choice
2nd: 2 DVD/BD movies of your choice
3rd: 1 DVD/BD movie of your choice
4th: 1 DVD/BD movie of your choice
5th: 1 free movie rental on Amazon Instant Video
6th: 1 free movie rental on Amazon Instant Video

And of course we can't forget the contributors who keep the site stocked with stories for all of us to catch up on the latest news and discuss the latest movies. This month we'll be awarding the top THREE contributors for their hard work.

3rd: $25

Terms and Conditions:
1. Only one prize per member. In the event that a member is eligible for multiple prizes, said member will be awarded the one prize of the highest value.
2. DVD prizes are for standard movies only. Box sets, special collector's editions or seasons of TV shows are not allowed unless otherwise stated.
3. Competition is open to all FilmWatch users, except for employees of HAVAmedia and immediate relatives. Contests are not limited to the US/NA.
4. Closing date is 11:59 PM EST 31st December 2011.
5. In the event of unforeseen circumstances FilmWatch/HAVAmedia reserves the right to substitute the prizes for alternatives of equal or greater value.
6. Spamming of comments, heat altering or cheating of any nature will result in disqualification from all contests for the month.
7. Prizes are not transferrable.
8. The winners of the competition will be notified by PM here on FilmWatch.
9. Failure to reply to PM notification within fourteen (14) days results in forfeiture of prize.
