These articles are BS Sony hardly ever makes statements in the press, considering what MS has said about "true 4k" or "Greatest Line up in history" Sony is pretty subdue. They showed a bunch of exclusives that haven’t even launch yet, why would they need to play their hand for more announced titles for when they literally barely just showed gameplay for three of these exclusives. If anything we have too much to play to even care about any new announcements

I still think they edged out a win this E3, and the Fortnite issue isn't even their problem to fix. Also, it's not like they were trash talking or bragging or anything. When you're the only one among the competitors who actually does the job best...guess what? People start ignoring the negatives.
This is happened with Nvidia and now it's happening with Sony(I'm sure there are other examples too). No amount of negatives will affect them because at the end of the day they are the ones who are delivering. Yes and that is not good. The PS3 got off to such a slow start because of their cockiness. The fans are to blame, but the media is as well. The media worships them and they need to hold Sony accountable so it keeps Sony on the up and up.

Sony ps3 was expensive, but you were getting Bluray tech very reasonably priced at that time. Also, ps3 was a good jump over the ps2. I would spend 450$ to 500$ For a Ps5 if it's techwise worth it.

“Microsoft’s stellar e3” but when ask why, crickets. Presentation of the third party games Microsoft paid to be on their stage? Ok. But nothing literally separates this e3 from the last 6 for Microsoft. No new exciting in house AAA games, nothing shocking and nothing substantial that lifted the need for Xbox. In fact, in kind of felt like “hold on until next gen folks”.
It is nice to see the marketed attack though... shows you where the gaming media’s wallets are for sure.

People seem to forget that Playstation is firstly a business and they have a duty towards share holders and not just customers. There are 80 Million people playing online games so this need to have to x play with other console is just unnecessary given we can already x play with PC and iOS.

As far as I'm concerned, the PlayStation platform has been the gold standard for 4 straight generations in providing content both in terms of quality and quantity and honestly, PS4 has been my favorite generation of all of them! Say you are playing an online multi-player game and you have 20 players in your session.

Does it matter if 10 of those players are from PC or from Xbox? The 20 players are still there regardless from where they come. Does players from another console receive special powers for playing cross play?

For me it makes no difference from where the players are gaming so I don't need crossplay as I am still going to play with a bunch of people.
