Being the mathematician that I got my degree in, wouldn't the comparative analysis of time frames actually put Infamous: Second Son ahead of BOTW? it's 9 days compared to 14. Mario Kart would also be ahead of Horizon by the same principal. Maybe some others too....but don't really wish to do that much math this late.

Anyhow, not that big of a deal, great sales for all of them, just thought I'd think that the article should try to be accurate, or use similar metrics for comparisons.

Hhhm.. I don't think so. GT has never ever sold 35 million copies of one game on one platform before. Mario Kart has. GT is far from a perfect sim. No damage in most of the games. Cars never flip over and bounce around off each other like bumping cars. Wouldn't call that realistic simulation of cars racing. Maybe they will get it right this gen.

At least I have multiple consoles and can play anygame I really wanna play. I don't sit here and pretend to suddenly have a crazy gaming PC so I no longer need one console to play a game because it's on PC now even though I have consistently crapped on pc gaming like a certain group has. I tried the same argument the other way when PSnow got announced with PS4 games on PC and the same people that upvote someone saying they are gonna sell their Xbox downvote someone saying they will sell their PS4. And so did Killzone and several other games, so if anything it should have been a multiway tie for all games that sold 1m copies in their first month. Also they could be considering Dead Rising 3 multiplat since it's on PC.

Ignoring Kirb, Halo 5 should definitely be on this list. The $400 million is a completely stupid waste of a number, because MS has never revealed what was all included in that $400 such as console bundles, DLC, etc... THey just gave gross Halo sales.

That being said Halo easily sold over 1m copies it's first week, it has consistently done 2m - 4m week 1 sales at launch, and Halo 5 is likely no difference, at it's worse it should have sold 1m copies week one, and therefore should have made this list.

Now the reason MS didn't want to release actually numbers, is likely because even though it launched well, it more than likely sold less than the Xbox 360 Halos, which would be a bad look for what's supposed to be their "fastest selling console" and their "best selling franchise".

The Pc version was released in august/September 2014.

If every Halo 5 game sold was bundled with a console they would have sold 1million consoles in that week. So sure, bundling console bundles, games and controllers, and if it was the most expensive item of them that sold all of it it would still be over 1 million in sales in that one week. Which would still put it on this list

Yes, we know that Uncharted 4 sold better than Halo 5 in US and UK and worldwide humiliated it. Who would have thought last gen that U4 will be bigger than H5.

I didn't know around 30 million consoles sold makes something completely irrelevant. As to fighting tooth and nail with tears in my eyes to add a game to this list, that's not the case at all. Basilboxer said it's sad that Gears and halo would be the only Xbox games on this list, so I proved that no, dead rising 3 would be as it sold over 1 million in the first month. To which I was berated by basuarabox, so I responded with facts, meanwhile all you guys can respond with is name calling.

Thought Halo 5 sold 1 million within it's first 2 weeks. They sold over 5 million in 3 months. Sure this site didn't get all the numbers for all the games. It's a click bait article anyways, so it wouldn't surprise me.

Ehh, there are several PS4 games listed that aren't Sony first party titles either, so if Dead Rising 3 would've been an exclusive and not a multiplat it could've been listed....

I'm not sure why Nioh is listed actually, since it's a multiplat as well....
