if pokemon is it's own company then why isn't it on xbox and playstation?

God people have a lot of hate for what they don't understand don't they lol. This is the stock market and it fluctuates and Nintendo hasn't made a loss because all they did was license it out. They didn't even invest money into it 😂😂😂

Has nothing to do with that at all. It's stock. People buy low, they see movement, so more people jump in. stock hits a high point, the people flipping finally sell. Stock decreases back down to an average point. (If i'm not mistaken, Nintendo stock is still around 10 percent higher than it was before Go)

Happens all the time when new products are introduced. The interesting part is finding where the high point will be, and finding where the fall point will be. You want to buy low, sell high, and remain comfortable with whatever is left when it falls to the stopping point (which is hopefully higher than when you bought in).

My guess is that now that the board at Nintendo saw how massive the mobile market is and what it can do to gain the value of their company. That the mobile game division will get a big push.

It doesn't really matter, Nintendo still profited from it & it's possible that it could attract new customers to Nintendo's offerings.

The novelty will wear off. Only the dedicated will continue to play. Casual people will catch at least 50 Pokemon then realize they are done. They are not walking anymore to catch the same critter over and over.
