5 Tech Giants That Lost Their Edge - BadFive

"What if I tell you that five years from now Google, Apple and Samsung will no longer be considered amongst the elite companies of the tech world? You would say that I talk nonsense and that I’m crazy, right? Because great companies like Google and Apple and so many other are destined to be at the top for ever. Although you might turn out to be right about those three tech giants after five years this doesn’t mean that I was completely wrong about every big company out there. If we had the same conversation 10 years ago you would have probably called me crazy again if I told you that Kodak or Nokia would fall in a few years from now. Today we’ll take a brief look at 5 Tech Giants that lost their edge "

A shame Sony has lost its edge in the tech industry.

If they continue to churn out garbage from their film studios like they are now, they might be forced to sell of those assets. Hard to tell if it would be good for them though.

@annoyedgamer
Sony is one of the 5 hollywood giants. Literally 1/5 of what you watch is made by Sony. "Garbage?" Im sure thats a misunderstanding.

I am still boggled by the presence of Yahoo in Japan. Still so many Japanese people use yahoo as their gateway front page when using the internet. Maybe because all the info is there on the page, but looking a the Japanese Yahoo front page is a headache. It is bursting with too much info. A Japanese friend of mine kept opening up a webpage to check his email on his smartphone. I said you know you can get your email directly without having to open up a Yahoo web page and logging in.

@annoyedgamer If their film studios were that bad financially they would shut them, not sell off profitable assets from an entirely different part of the parent company to keep the film studio afloat.
