You know who knows a fair bit about tech? Anyone working at id Tech. Although the studio is hardly the pallbearer of cutting edge technology like it used to be back in the 1990s, they're still pretty damn good at putting out some sick bits of code- just look at the new DOOM game.
The developer of Garry's Mod has announced it is in the process of removing all Nintendo-related content from Steam Workshop after receiving a takedown request from Nintendo.
Remedy has made a couple of changes to its core management team with the goal to grow Alan Wake and Control into larger franchises.

I think it depends on the game. Some games will likely go for the full 4k res and scale back on certain assets where as others would probably go for 1440p with increased fidelity on certain assets.
Overall it is up to the developers to choose how to use this power to best suit their game. I for one am keeping an open mind when it comes to their individual visions for their projects.
Will MS use the Scorpios power to not just improve resolution but also improve the ingame graphics just like Sony said they are going to do with Neo?

Johan Andersson (Frostbite tech lead) and this Id tech guy seem to love the idea of Scorpio a lot. Nice.
Can't wait to see what MS 1st party and others i.e Dice, Bethseda and Id can do with the power of this console. I hope these devs keep providing lots of feedback to MS about the console.
