The Playlist:
This December while Hollywood's other A-list stars put on their tuxedos to try and hustle the awards season circuit, Tom Cruise is forging his own path, going the blockbuster route. Last year around the same time he had a mega smash hit with "Mission: Impossible -- Ghost Protocol" and Paramount is hoping the magic can happen again with "Jack Reacher."
But here's the thing: Jack Reacher is no Ethan Hunt. While the latter is a seasonsed spy operative, the former is an ex-military investigator turned drifter, who packs a remarkable set of survival skills that allow him to handily and brutally take down anyone who gets in his way. Based on the character created by author Lee Child, and more specifically on the book "One Shot," this potential franchise starter sees Reacher get involved in the case of a sniper accused of murdering five people. But as always, there's deeper teachery afoot.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
