IGN:
As impressively fast-paced as this season of The Walking Dead is, it was understandable to have “Say the Word” be more of an aftermath episode, taking a step back after the huge events last week. But it was also pretty jam-packed in its own right, as The Governor revealed just how twisted he was.
As a fan of the comic book, I’m sure I’m not alone in being very happy to see some of The Governor’s most notable “greatest hits” brought into the TV series here, beginning with the confirmation that, yep, his little girl is now a zombie, who he keeps tied up. That scene between father and daughter was incredibly messed up, in an awesome way. From a piece of her scalp ripping out as he brushed her hair to him kissing his flesh-hungry little girl through a burlap sack he put over her head, this was some next level insanity. Seeing him show such mundane acts of love to her is very effective and unsettling and takes the zombie daughter idea from the comic books even further in some great ways.
Dinner with the Parents Review: It's a family comedy series following the Langers, who often turn their family dinners into a disruptively chaotic affair.
Bros Review: The series, as the title suggests, is about two adult men who want to behave like children and we are not here for that.
Going Home With Tyler Cameron Review: This is a simple, no-nonsense but cliched watch, with Cameron's boyish charms taking centre stage.
It was very full of interesting information on all sides. Now I can't wait again until next week to see what the hell that phone call was.
IGN pretty much gives every episode an 8, but at least whoever is reviewing it is decent. Spikes in ratings everytime its good, some other sites are doing the complete opposite.
