What's My Thoughts: Twenty twelve is the year of Taylor Kitsch. The former star of Friday Night Lights is starring in three films this year, one of which already debuted (John Carter). While the big budget Disney flick didn’t live to expectations financially (and critically), this week’s launch of Universal’s Battleship should bring in a nice payday for the studio as well as for Kitsch. Given the massive marketing the studio has pushed behind it this entire month, this might give Hasbro’s flagship franchise Transformers a run for its money.
