Fox Searchlight releases the first trailer for the Sundance hit.
After wowing audiences (and winning the Grand Jury Prize for Drama) at Sundance, Beasts of the Southern Wild is headed to theaters in June. To begin re-building the buzz that it earned at the Utah festival, the film has just released its first theatrical trailer from Fox Searchlight.
"On Sunday, we’ll bear witness to the most recent batch of actors, filmmakers, and writers duke it out for the title as Greatest Person In History. I’m kidding, of course, but even without the Oscars being a WWE grudge match (which I would most definitely watch, by the way: think mud wrestling between Jessica Chastain and Jennifer Lawrence), it is an exciting time for film buffs worldwide. From the new Transformers trilogy, to whether or not we will ever get a Hellboy 3 to the Golden Globe award winners, Jurassic Park 4, Arnold in a new Conan movie, more "Zero Dark Thirty" talk and the surprising (both in who was and wasn't recognized) 2013 Oscar nominations, we got it all covered. Then Brian gives some quick thoughts on "Frankenweenie", James discusses the animated show "The Legend of Korra" and "The Walking Dead" game from Telltale. Here they are, the best films of 2012--a personal list. While there may not be many surprises, there is plenty of discussion on why these ten movies are the best of the year.
