The Playlist:
There can be little doubt that Jack Nicholson is one of the greatest movie stars in the history of the medium. He's had more Oscar nominations (twelve) and wins (three) than any other actor and has been an A-list star for over forty years now, remaining a legitimate box office draw in films like "Something's Gotta Give" and "The Departed" even in his seventh decade. He's worked with everyone from Antonioni to Scorsese, and given some of the most iconic screen performances ever, from "Easy Rider" to "The Shining."
As one of the greatest actors, Jack Nicholson raised the profile of Joker to greater heights and set the stage for other performances.

Chillopedia: After playing various roles for over three decades on the silver screen, Jack Nicholson is one of the most versatile actors of all time. Nominated for the prestigious Oscar Awards a record 12 times, he has won three of them as well. He won it twice for best actor playing a leading role and once as best actor in a supporting role. No other male actor in the history of the Oscar Awards has ever been nominated 12 times or has won it thrice. He exudes a very strong personality in whatever role he plays.
I've always liked Jack...he can make me laugh and he can make me sad. I think one of his best ever movies though was 'One Flew Over the CooCoo's Nest'. That movie made a big impression on me of his acting.
