It’s funny. Scream already broke the horror formula down to its most basic components years ago. We’ve already been down to the marrow, but Cabin aspires to go even deeper by inventing new branches of the archetype to explore. In doing so, it breathes new life into a genre that really should have been bagged and tagged some time ago. 4/5
Me? I thought it was such a smart-ass movie. I may
give it some more of my money when it comes out to retail!
btw, loved the ending. ;)
However, if Joss Whedon is attached to any movie..I probably going to see it anyway no matter what anyone says...I just have to because I know it's going to be different in some way...may not know in what way but somehow he'll make it a little different.
