'Fringe': Producers Tease Easter Eggs And a Possible Comic Book

Zap 2 It:
At Wondercon 2012 in Anaheim, CA, we got a chance to chat with "Fringe" producers J.H. Wyman and Jeff Pinkner. Now, these guys could be in the CIA, they're so good about keeping secrets. They teased us, saying that we shouldn't necessarily trust what we're told about new casting and who Henry Ian Cusick and Georgina Haig will be playing. They also gave us some info about easter eggs in the show and how they'll handle finishing the story if they don't get a pickup.

"You may or may not know that every week, there is an Easter egg imbedded in every episode that teases that next episode," Wyman says. "So literally, from the first episode, there has been something that teases some element of the very next episode. And there have been season and series-long Easter eggs floating out there as well. Some of which have been seen and misinterpreted and some of which have never been found."

My husband and I always look for the eggs and can't find them but they tell us that they are there somewhere in the episode but you get so into the show that you're watching who's got time to scope the setting.

The Collider:
Today at WonderCon 2012, Sony Screen Gems presented footage from their big fall release, Resident Evil: Retribution. Good move on their part as there was a huge burst of crowd support when the panel was announced. The fifth film in the series by director Paul W. S. Anderson and star Milla Jovovich features Alice’s return to the fight against the Umbrella Corporation. Also returning are some fan-favorites from Resident Evils past. Anderson and Jovovich were on hand to screen the trailer and an action sequence from the film, which promises to be the biggest yet as Resident Evil goes global. I'm really thinking that this one will make up for the last one. I was a little disappointed in the last one. I still went to see it and it was okay but I would't give it any awards for anything. This trailer that I threw in here for just the heck of it kind of shows me a little something special that's going to make this one a lot better.

Yes, I've been a fan too long to change now. I haven't cared for every one of the movie the same way but I will be seeing this one and hoping that I'm not disappointed.

Tobey Maguire will always be the best Spider-Man to me compared to Andrew Garfield.
