Watch: First Trailer for Sundance Fave 'The Imposter' Documentary

First Showing:
"From as long as I remember, I wanted to be someone else." Time to take a look and get an introduction to The Imposter, Bart Layton's documentary about Frédéric Bourdin, which premiered at Sundance to rave reviews, including my own. Bourdin is a French criminal who deceived authorities and convinced them that he was a 16-year-old missing child from Texas found in Spain. It's a nearly unbelievable true story, and these are the first glimpses at what they have and where they go in this, with the family and Frederic's side of it. Now you know what we are all talking about and why this looks so good. Fire up the first trailer below!

I'd read about this before and found it to be very strange but interesting. I can't imagine how it would feel to go thru something like this or be connected in some way. This family went thru a lot.

Another year has gone by at FilmFracture and it has been full of great movies, mediocre trips to the cinema, and some downright awful wastes of time. Ted and Spidy were two of my favourite films of the year, and I complete disagree with the writer putting Les Mis in the worst section, it was outstanding.

I pretty much have to agree with the list. Sure some odd ones here and there, but I'm not a musical fan so Les would be down there for me too.

I just watched "The Beasts of the Southern wild".
It was very unique, and heart touching.
I suggest everyone check it out if you're looking for something different.

Disagree with Prometheus being among the best. Dark Knight Rises, Skyfall or the Hobbit instead! But I liked that they put Ted among the best. That is one funny movie.

Total Film | The Imposter Review

Creepier than Catfish and as cinematic as Man On Wire, this is an unnerving story immaculately told and a strong contender for doc of the year.
