Deadline:
Disney is setting Edgar Wright to direct The Night Stalker, the remake of the ABC telepic and series that the studio is developing as a potential star vehicle for Johnny Depp to play intrepid tabloid reporter Carl Kolchak. Depp and his Infinitum Nihil partner Christi Dembrowski will produce.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
I loved the old tv series watching Kolchak trying to solve all the mysteries and no one would believe anything he saw or said for that matter. He was so funny sometimes.
I even like the darker Night Stalker tv series they did in 2005 with Stuart Townsend...it was a little scarier and creepy but they cancelled it saying they didn't have good ratings because people thought it was too dark and evil which I thought was a stupid excuse.
This makes me happy that they are going to make a movie about it and the fact that Johnny Depp is going to play Kolchak is even better.
