Shock Til You Drop:
As we have been discussing over the last week, Shock Till You Drop went on an excursion to Springfield, Illinois recently to connect with the team behind Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (click on the title for a look at our previous coverage).
Within the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum - where some of the wax mock-ups of Abe's life were altered to reflect the film (his wax counterpart could be seen holding a stake) - Shock sat down with director Timur Bekmambetov and star Benjamin Walker to briefly discuss the film based on the trailer and clips we had seen.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
This is really going to be very facinating to watch. I can't wait to see this movie.
I don't care what anybody says, the premise may be stupid, but this does look like it has the potential to be tons of fun. And it kinda looks like Timur is getting back to his roots so to speak, just making it more of a fun ride.
I really enjoyed his pre-Hollywood movies (Nightwatch, Daywatch) and would welcome a return to that style. Add in a helping of just pure unadulterated fun and I'm sold. Even my gf saw this trailer and said "Lincoln hunting vampires? Seriously? That's stupid. But damn that looks fun!"
That was what I said too....it's just so out of this world that you can't help but know that you're going to enjoy it. Vampires started so long ago...if you think about it that all our ancestors had to be fighting them throughout the years so they could make movies of just about anything or anyone fighting vampires but Lincoln was almost genious and it should be fun.
This movie will either big a huge hit or a total flop. I will watch it either way, I'm just hoping for the best.
People are always complaining that they want to see something different and now you have a totally unique idea.
