Before 28 Weeks Later-director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo’s Intruders screens at SXSW 2012, you can check out the new trailer here. Starring Clive Owen (Children of Men), Carice van Houten (Black Book) and Izan Corchero, Intruders introduces audiences to Hollow Face, an imaginative menace that lurks in the shadows. We Got This Covered
So yeah – I dug Intruders. It offers a genre hybrid with relentless substance, and does so through gripping, chilly tension. Too many twists can kill a film, but Adam Schindler’s direction ensures that each reveal is trickled out at this proper moment, in an effort to maximize pacing and suspense. The filmmaker makes proper use of the ideas writers T.J. Cimfel and David White dream up, and leads viewers into a deadly home with a basement full of secrets.

In Intruders, Rory Culkin plays a delivery man caught between three home invaders (Jack Kesy, Joshua Mikel, and Martin Starr) and a grief-stricken young woman (Beth Riesgraf), who proves surprisingly adept at thwarting the trio’s malevolent intentions.
Jeremy of We Got This Covered wrote, "I’ve been looking forward to Intruders ever since I watched the first trailer. Director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later) isn’t exactly a visionary director like the film bills him as, but he is good at approaching films with style and consistent moods. 28 Weeks Later was a sequel that actually lived up to the hype of 28 Days Later and yet somehow in his latest horror/thriller Intruders he throws all of that away in exchange for a horror film without scares, originality or a pulse."
Now this is going to be good and creepy. I've never seen Clive Owen in a movie like this. First time for everything. I think I would like to see it.
