For those who like their action pics packed with extra brawn, The Tomb is shaping up to be your kind of flick. The long-in-development actioner has seen Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, and Arnold Schwarzenegger circle the lead role over the years, with Stallone finally signing on last October. We recently heard that Stallone was talking with his pal Schwarzenegger about joining the film in a different role, and today that news has been confirmed as both Stallone and Schwarzenegger are set to star. Stallone plays Ray Breslin, the world’s foremost authority on structural security. Breslin is framed and incarcerated in a prison of his own master design, and must now figure out how to break out (shouldn’t be too difficult if he designed the damn building). I'm really going to have to adjust to Arni again. I don't have a problem with the other...I like them all but it's just...well....some things just get on my nerves now and I just can't help it...it's a personal thing and it's my problem I guess but I'm trying to look past it.
Why did it have to take nearly 30 years for them to team up? Sure they made some great movies along the way but some movies didn't need to be made. For example, instead of making "Stop or my mom will shoot" they could have teamed up. Instead of making "Kindergarden Cop" they could have team up.
Sure those are funny and entertaining movies. But if I could replace those movies and put them in a Contra movie team up I would do it in a heart beat. o_o
You know when they're younger it a matter of them being so vain that they don't want to share their fame on screen with anyone else. I think that's why they took so long to get together. Now at this age they can see that they can probably bring in a bigger fan base if they stick together on some of their projects.
