IGN - From the United States perspective, Doctor Who has never been more popular, with same-day airings on BBC America in conjunction with BBC showings in the UK, preview screenings in New York City, constant coverage in mainstream pop culture magazines like TV Guide and Entertainment Weekly, and even the recent honor of being the most downloaded US iTunes show. It may be cliched but it's true; there has never been a better time to be an American Doctor Who fan. It's all the more frustrating then that for some of us the show has never been more unevenly written or emotionally distant. Then again, there are those that feel the series is undeniably in a golden age. There's one thing we all agree on, though -- we all love Doctor Who in general, and Series 6 has inspired seriously divided reactions in fandom.
