The Collider:
With director David Fincher‘s The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo set to open in a few days, earlier today I attended a press conference in New York City with Fincher, Rooney Mara, and Daniel Craig. In the coming days I’ll have a transcript (with audio), but I wanted to post a bit of news from the interview today.
Even though the first film has yet to open, with the popularity of Stieg Larson’s Millennium trilogy, it’s almost certain Dragon Tattoo will be a big hit for Sony and they’ll likely move ahead with the sequels as fast as they can. Since the second and third books (The Girl Who Played With Fire and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest) are one story, Fincher was asked if he might shoot the sequels back to back. Continued after the jump.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
I didn't know there were 2 more to follow but if they are suppose to be as good as the first...bring them on as long as they take the same time and care as the first. You have to have the same writers and directors and actors for the main characters if they are in the other books.
same here didn't knew it was a trilogy,, but sequels will sure follow because of the success of this one and i hope that it will be as good and successful as the first one
Very cool.
