BOM - While it did finish in first place, New Year's Eve dropped the ball this weekend with a disappointing $13.7 million opening. Things were comparatively better for The Sitter, though Jonah Hill didn't impress in his solo debut. Adding these two movies to an already weak field turned out to be box office poison—the Top 12 wound up with an estimated $69.7 million, which is the second-worst gross of the year so far. There is also a very good chance that once all movies report tomorrow, overall box office will wind up at its lowest point since 2008.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Pretty sad numbers
new years eve received such bad reviews...and other titles doesn't help to boost up sales as well...hopefully there are some big titles left like Mission impossible to help lessen this situation
The ads for New Year's Eve sucked.
