Even when he shies away from crime to give us biographical films or period pieces, it’s safe to say that Scorsese has always made films for adults. So, when it was announced that he would be making a children’s movie called “Hugo”, based on the Brian Selznick novel “The Invention of Hugo Cabret”, and that it would be in 3D, fans were understandably tepid. However, the end result is something that anyone who knows of Scorsese and his lifelong affair with cinema should expect."
