"File it under “Slow News Day” or just plain ol’ “Batsh*t Crazy,” but Fox Business Network’s “Follow The Money” must have been hurting for content when they decided to run this bit, invoking the specter of Joseph McCarthy by claiming that the recently released film The Muppets is teaching our children pro-Communist, anti-capitalist values."
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
I saw the movie. That oil dude ("capitalism") is pretty damn evil. He hates the Muppets!
How dare a movie try to do more than entertain. But this is really ridiculous the muppets have always been smart what other kind of villain are they going to have during this time?
of course, because i believe everything fox news says, death to the muppets >_<
end of sarcasm : D
A LOT of cartoons brainwash kids. Communism is the least of the world's problems.
It must suck being such a joyless adult that you can't just enjoy something as harmless as the Muppets.
"I know it's easier to portray a world that's filled with cynicism and anger, where problems are solved with violence. That's titillating. It's an easy out. What's tougher is to offer alternatives, to present other ways conflicts can be resolved, and to show that you can have a positive impact on your world. To do that, you have to out yourself out on a limb, take chances, and run the risk of being called a do-gooder." - Jim Henson
