There have been over 20 theatrical film versions of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. From musicals to black comedy to animation and even the Muppets. Here are ten of the best. What are your favourites?
The Muppets Haunted Mansion is a fun romp with all your favourite characters, but a bit too shallow to keep anyone but kids and true Muppet lovers happy for the short runtime.
Deadline
The Muppets Studio released an official statement regarding the firing of Steve Whitmire, who voiced Kermit the Frog for 27 years.
They should give a better explanation than that if they're going to just fire someone after decades of dedicated work.
Deadline
Kermit the Frog has a new voice. Steve Whitmire, who has voiced the iconic green amphibian since Jim Henson died in 1990, is leaving the Muppets and is being replaced by Matt Vogel, a Muppets Studio spokesperson confirmed to Deadline.
Hopefully Matt Vogel is able to replicate Kermit's voice; Steve Whitmire gave Kermit a unique and immediately recognisable sound.
The version listed at #5 is said to be from Disney. That's not right. I love A Christmas Carol with George C. Scott.
My favorite will always be 'A Christmas Carol' made in 1938 in black and white. I try to watch it every year and it never disappoints. None of the others have ever made me feel the way this one does...I just love it.
