THR Writes:
The final original episode of the year improved week-over-week in viewers and two key demographics.
Sunday's shocking midseason finale of The Walking Dead delivered for AMC.
The episode, which aired following a six-hour marathon of Season 2 episodes, drew 6.6 million total viewers and 4.5 million in the advertiser-coveted adults 18-49 demographic, pulling in 3.9 million in the adults 25-54 demo, according to Nielsen.
The numbers for the episode, in which the survivors' search for Sophia ended with heartbreaking results, marked an improvement week-over-week and topped the zombie drama's Season 1 finale stats, coming close to its record-breaking Season 2 premiere viewership.
City Hunter Review: The manga adaptation unravels the tragic beginning of Ryo Saeba and Kaori Makimura's partnership.
Deliver Me Review: The Swedish series follows two troubled teen and their troublesome lives when one of them is shot dead.
Fight For Paradise Review: This reality show is nothing new but there are so many uncomfortable moments that will definitely give you the ick.
It makes sense that it would. I think people had to get used to the show for one thing and this season absolutely started out better and was better all along so this mid season finale had to be something to make people come back after the holiday break.
Everyone that's into this show already is waiting but newcomers like me that had never heard about it until last year are really excited as well. I know the rating will be sky high on the first day back.
