MediaStinger: Though it’s obviously influenced by the almighty 300 and even straight up jacks numerous things from the popular 2006 fantasy film and other movies, Immortals establishes its own beautiful visual presentation and ups the ante on stylized violence. The producers of 300 have delivered a mythical action adventure that excels triumphantly at action but languishes disappointingly at adventure. Nevertheless, action fanatics should be dying to experience Immortals as long as they reward themselves with the film’s magnificent 3D.
