Sony Eyeing Michael Fassbender For Steve Jobs?

I’m hearing that Michael Fassbender is the actor who’s currently being eyed to play Steve Jobs in the Aaron Sorkin-scripted picture that Danny Boyle will direct for Sony Pictures. I don’t want to get carried away here, after all the heated press speculation about past courtship of other actors Christian Bale (twice) and Leonardo DiCaprio.

I was more eager to see Leonardo DiCaprio and David Fincher tackle this project. And hasn't Seth Rogen been attached to this project now? I just don't know about that.

they made a jobs movie. a crap one. with that ashton guy. walking like he had to take a hard shit the entire movie.

That was an independently done film. Wozniak said he couldn't even get through the script for the Ashton Kutcher film. This one is based off the Steve Jobs biography by Walter Isaacson, and has backing from Sony (and Wozniak) so it should be a better film than the previous one. Keywords "should be".

Christian Bale Exits Steve Jobs Movie

Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that the actor has fallen off the Jobs biopic that is being directed by Danny Boyle.

The Sony project, which has a script by Aaron Sorkin and is being produced by Scott Rudin, Guymon Casady and Mark Gordon, was on track to begin shooting this winter for a quick turnaround.
