Max Borenstein has been tapped to write the planned remake of Godzilla.
Gareth Edwards, the director of the indie sci-fi movie Monsters, is attached to direct the creature feature centered on the giant city-destroying and monster-fighting lizard, which is in development at Legendary Pictures.

This seems to be taking a long time. This was supposed to hit in 2012 originally, but there's no way that's happening now. I just want another good Godzilla movie.

Yeah, looks like this one is taking a lot longer than it needs to. You would think by now that they would have it down to a science...the story is about the same every time anyway.
