Bitmob Staff Writer Samir Torres writes:
The first Mortal Kombat film was far from a masterpiece, but it gave fans of the fighting series what they wanted: characters and settings from the games, an adrenaline-pumping soundtrack, and Talisa Soto. MK was a blockbuster hit, earning over $120 million dollars at the box office.
Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, on the other hand, was a critical and commercial failure. Director John R. Leonetti managed to take a successful action/martial arts franchise and turn it into a disaster of biblical proportions.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Used to watch this and the original all the time as kids. We knew it was bad, but we didn't care!
There was so much wrong with this movie.
That CG battle was so pointless, they just fought and then transformed back to their human states and had to fight more.
Lol i dont care how bad it was it entertained when i watched it i was 6 years old
not suprising since shao kahn got owned by the terminator in his arrival *give me your clothes* scene lol from the terminator movie that is
I actually prefer the second over the first. Sure, the first was a better film from almost every angle, but the second was silly and full of characters and action.
