SuperHeroHype.com has learned that Simon Kinberg is writing the sequel to 20th Century Fox's X-Men: First Class, which has earned over $350 million since opening in theaters this June.
yes now im looking forward to the sequal please come out sooner :P
First class was so good it dident even feel like a super hero movie the guys cast for Charles and Erik played their parts perfectly cant wait for the sequel
It's gonna be hard to live up to the 1st one
He also wrote the Last Stand which IMO ruins the X-men trilogy. But I hope he doesn't ruin this one since the first one is so good.
Good stuff. At this pace, we'll see this movie out before Wolverine's sequel.
well not to be an ass but does it really matter who writes it as long as its good sure past movies this guy did may have sucked but that doesnt mean it will suck this time around
I actually didn't mind The Last Stand. Wasn't as good as the first, but I still found it enjoyable. However, it definitely was a different type of movie than First Class. Part of the appeal of First Class was the narrative approach and character-driven aspect of it. I gotta wonder if this writer will just take it back to focusing on action instead.
i think it was badly made, badly done crap movie. i was falling asleep and i normally dont do that. emma frost was horribly cast also, she was so old and had to much make up. she looked alot better in unknown.
One glitch that bothered me from First class... If you've seen Wolverine, you'd notice at the end when Xavier calls the children from the mist his how do I put this....STANDING! (played by Patrick Stewart who made a small cameo). BUT, in First class he gets shot, and ends up paralyzed at 23..24..25? I dunno, BUT MUCH YOUNGER then what Wolverines movie showed us. Some writer screwed up badly, if they wanted it to be in the same X-men Universe as the last. I'd suggest checking their timelines next time before executing something hardcore fans will notice.
this i notice too theres only so many ways this could be fixed would to have some kind of timeline correction and edit the trilogy dialog to make any kind of sense with the prequal the story makes sense but the timeline doesnt as for X standing theres a few possibilities one around that time jean grey must of been recruited before hand and probably used her powers to help him or i think it was stated somewhere that he could use his own powers to make him stand but he would prefer not too cuz that takes too much concentration at the same time
I doubt it, I mean in X-Men 2 when Striker's son manipulates Xavier to think his walking with his mind games, with Xavier shedding a tear of happiness thinking its real for a moment. So I think that theory doesn't really add up... PLUS HIS A LEVEL 3 MUTANT along with Magneto, that being said. THEY are few of the strongest mutants around (Before PHOENIX came along course). Maybe Im looking too deep into this, plus I just noticed Im a massive nerd lol
