Movies Hate You Too writes:
Whether you read the book or have seen one of the almost countless film adaptations from days of silent film, the 70's Michael York/Richard Chamberlain films, or the 1993 Disney Musketeer film starring Charlie Sheen, Kiefer Sutherland, and Chris O'Donnell you'll quickly notice that this is unlike any Musketeer film you've seen before. This Musketeer film takes place outside of any normal reality where the laws of physics no longer apply and the technology of the 17th century only seems slightly out of sync with our own. There's old timey scuba gear, space age locks, repelling equipment, and, oh yeah, flying air ships (aka battleships with hot air balloon attached to them). All these technological marvels are mixed into one of the most nonsensical plots I've run across in a long time.
