We agree with you whole-heartedly. We all know that quality doesn't exactly equal box-office takes but still, it just burns our butts when you look at something like the Rotten Tomatoes score...
Transformers: Dark of the Moon = 34%
LOTR: Return of the King = 94%
Go figure!!!

yep! this is extremely annoying! the only good part of tf3 is the vfx. but thats all. the story is abysmal, extremely predictable, and lack of quality!

*yeah optimus definitely on those rockets!*

Definitely sad...

I wouldn't say transformers is a bad movie, but it's extremely mediocre and doesn't deserve to even be in the top 10 imo...

On another note, Avatar doesn't even deserve to be in front of transformers. That movie was very average - especially in 2D.

Yea but lets face it... the last lord of the rings was boring as hell..

Eh, I didn't hate Dark of the Moon like some seemed to. It was the worst of the 3 movies in the franchise, but moderately enjoyable.

That being said, I don't ever put much into these lists. They're VERY skewed. The one that matters to me is the one that is adjusted for inflation. THAT is the real list to go by. And if you go by that one, none of these even make it into the top 10.

True, when you put it like that, it really puts into perspective just how big the first Jurassic Park and The Lion King were. Titanic would still be #1.

JL4580d ago

Actually if you adjust for inflation, I think Gone with the Wind or Star Wars are on top. Titanic is on up there though. Definitely top 10.
