IGN: In many ways, there are two sides to Quentin Tarantino as a filmmaker, and most audiences prefer his flashier side. You can see the division in his two-part epic actioner, Kill Bill. Where Kill Bill Volume 1 is a slick, snappy action-drama, Kill Bill Volume 2 is more deliberately drawn out and character driven. I do really appreciate his Scorsese-like kinetic pizzazz, but I often favor his slower work. Tarantino's exploration of character through dialogue is fascinating, and it's where he feels most original and at home.
