Ringer, CW's new drama is premiering on September 13, marking actress Sarah Michelle Gellar's return to television. This time, it's in a dual role. She plays Bridget, who witnessed a murder before going on the run, that ends up hiding by assuming the life of her wealthy identical twin sister, Siobhan. "During a recent interview to promote the serialized thriller, Sarah Michelle Gellar talked about the technical challenges of playing twins, how they plan to have two or three flashbacks per episode, that she had missed getting to develop a really kick-ass role (or in this case two) over a longer period of time, and that the show will provide answers, even if those answers lead to more questions."
Dinner with the Parents Review: It's a family comedy series following the Langers, who often turn their family dinners into a disruptively chaotic affair.
Bros Review: The series, as the title suggests, is about two adult men who want to behave like children and we are not here for that.
Going Home With Tyler Cameron Review: This is a simple, no-nonsense but cliched watch, with Cameron's boyish charms taking centre stage.
I know I'm going to like this show already without even seeing the first episode. I've missed her on TV since Buffy was cancelled. I have all 7 seasons of Buffy and I watch them at least once a year (all 7 seasons) Of course I miss most of the rest of the cast too. There are a couple of them I don't care if they came back to tv or not but for the most part they were my favorite for so long.
This story line in so interesting and I'm sure they're going to do a lot with it. Also being on the CW will give them a little more room to do more with their script then they would on FOX or one of the other regular channels.
Sarah Michelle Gellar belongs on television with the right material. She'll always be Buffy to me.
